Parent Support

Parenting can be overwhelming.

Child with curly hair sitting on a dark tiled kitchen floor covered in spilled flour, playing with baking ingredients, with a green mixing bowl and a small green container nearby.

Sometimes it can involve feeling unenthusiastic, on edge, or just that things are too much.

Too noisy. Too messy. Touched out.

Stressed. Snappy. Resentful.

Frustrated at interruptions and constant demands. Overwhelmed with all the parenting advice online.

And maybe the last thing you feel like doing is playing with your child.

You definitely aren’t alone in feeling like this.

“I get it…

When I became a Mum, the noise, touch, and mess overwhelmed me. Using what I know about sensory regulation, I found ways to to stress less and enjoy more.”

What does therapy involve?

  • Understanding your triggers

  • Learning about nervous system regulation and stress responses
